Welcome to the Dunbar-Haywood County Training-Carver High School Alumni Association. 

Our purpose is to “serve in an exclusively charitable & educational capacity as provided under section 501(C)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code of 1957 as amended, by seeking to preserve, promote, and record the cultural,  educational, and social heritage of the institutions formerly of Brownsville, Haywood County, Tennessee, known as Dunbar, Haywood County Training School, and Carver High School.”  

Our Museum and Cultural Center, located on the site and in the building known as Carver High School, was formally dedicated on September 1, 2007 and is continually developing and expanding.  We currently have 10 chapters in 8 states.  Take a look around!
